What CMMC looks like in Florida

Florida's base is spread out: the Panhandle around Eglin and Hurlburt, the Space Coast around Patrick, Tampa Bay around MacDill, and Jacksonville's Navy presence. A machine shop in Okaloosa County and a software subcontractor in Orlando can sit under the same prime and inherit the same clause.

When a large prime like those at the top of Florida's contractor list flows CMMC down, the requirement lands on its suppliers too. If a purchase order or drawing set arrives marked as Controlled Unclassified Information, plan for Level 2.
